THE TARPAULIN SHOP NORTH IPSWICH 1978
Built 1879. Used firstly as stores for workshops, then admin offices, then tarpaulin shop, the in 1990 Ipswich Railway Historical Center until Workshops Rail Museum established. Only remaining building from original workshops.

Aerial Photos show the yard had been emptied by the year 2000.
Note the brick tarpaulin-stores shed far left and the single remaining Bremer Rail Bridge in the distance. On the right QR maintenance structures still remain.

Construction of the Riverlink Complex is taking over former railway land.
Note the green pathway which denotes the rail line linking the Rail Bridge with the workshops. Also the Heiner Road abuttments can be seen on their reserved site.
